JOHN DICKERSON

Dickerson is the political director at CBS News and anchor of “Face the Nation.” During the 2016 presidential campaign he moderated two presidential debates and interviewed each of the major candidates multiple times. Dickerson has been a reporter in Washington since 1995, covering the White House, Congress and economics. He won the Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency.

​A native Washingtonian, Dickerson graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a specialty in American Studies. His mother, Nancy Dickerson, was CBS News’ first female correspondent. Dickerson is the author of “On Her Trail,” a book about his mother. He's also the author of the New York Times best-seller “Whistlestop: My Favorite Stories from Presidential Campaign History.” Known for his active use of social media, Dickerson has more than 2.16 million Twitter followers at @jdickerson.

STEVEN N. MILLER

Miller is a partner and co-founder of Origin Ventures. Prior to co-founding Origin, Steve spent 10 years at Quill Corporation, a direct marketer of office products started by his family in 1956. Steve serves on several corporate and nonprofit boards. He's president of the board of Victory Gardens Theater and vice chair of the BGA's Board of Directors. He also serves on the boards of OneGoal, Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.

​He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the University of Illinois Foundation, and was awarded the 2014 Richard J. Daley Medal by the Illinois Venture Capital Association. Steve received a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he now serves on the Dean’s Business Council and the board of the Hillel Foundation. He also provides the funding for the Steven N. Miller Entrepreneurial Scholarships and the Diane N. & Steven N. Miller Centennial Chair in Business at the University of Illinois.
